A sweet and spiced maple butter recipe, perfect for spreading on toast, pancakes, or other treats. Made with maple syrup, pumpkin spice, and sea salt, then blended to a creamy consistency.
Begin by adding your bottle of maple syrup to a pot and bringing to a simmer of 235 degrees F. Once temperature is reached, place in a heat safe ice bath by adding your hot maple syrup to a heat safe glass and placing it in a larger bowl of ice. Next, cool it to less than 100 degrees! While that’s cooking grab your Ascent X and set to 2! Place your maple syrup inside (it will be sticky) and begin to blend for up to 10 minutes until desired texture, blending too long makes it more of a peanut butter texture! In the last minute add your pumpkin spice + salt and store in a glass jar for up to a week! Be sure to refrigerate post use.
